Clamping ring with lifting ring which can be fitted for fastening a floor covering to a floor well. The clamping ring 19 comprises a ring of a plastic material provided with screw holes parallel to the axis of symmetry of the ring in order to fix the clamping ring to the floor well and an inclined outer surface 7 for clamping the floor covering 5 against a corresponding inclined surface 4 of the floor well. The clamping ring furthermore has flanges 11 directed radially inwards on the inner face of the clamping ring with a limited extent in the peripheral direction. The lifting ring has flanges directed radially outwards with indentations corresponding to the flanges 11 on the clamping ring, so that the lifting ring can be inserted into the clamping ring and pass the flanges 11 on the clamping ring, following which the lifting ring is turned, so that the flanges on the clamping ring interlock with the flanges on the lifting ring. Means are also provided for readjustment according to the ageing of the floor covering. <IMAGE> |
