PURPOSE:To provide a branch connector for a flat cable capable of easily branching the flat cable and expanding the applicable range when the flat cable is used for an automobile for a wire harness. CONSTITUTION:A flat cable 3 is sandwiched and fixed by a lower housing 1 and an upper housing 2, and pressure contact members 4 are pressed into slits 2b provided on the upper housing 2. Pressure contact sections 5 of the pressure contact members 4 are electrically connected to conductor sections of the flat cable 3. End sections of the pressure contact members 4 are formed into terminal sections 4b, and the terminal sections 4b form the connector terminals of a branch connector. |
