<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a cursor control unit which is superior in operation feeling and good in operability by limiting the motion of a stick and securely operating a cursor on the display screen of a display device. CONSTITUTION:To move the cursor to a desired cursor position on the display screen, the stick 2 is pressed and slanted. The stick 2 has its projection part 2C slanted around the through hole 3 of a holding member 3 as a fulcrum by the pressing operation, so the depression part 2b is pressed against a specific pressure sensing member 4 to control the cursor position. Namely, the motion of the stick 2 is limited by guiding the projection part 2C of the stick 2 in the through hole 3b of the holding member 3 by the operator so as to easily associate the movement of the cursor on the display screen with the depression, and the rotation around the through hole 3b as the fulcrum and upward/ downward and right/left slanting cursor operation on the display screen of the display device are performed.</p> |
