<p>PURPOSE:To provide a coordinate detection device which is superior in operability and assembling operability by reducing the size of an operation body that an operator operates manually. CONSTITUTION:Two infrared-ray LEDs 5 and 6 and three ultrasonic wave oscillators 7, 8, and 9 are arranged on the flat front surface of a detection body 3, an optical sensor 10 which photodetects infrared lights emitted by both the LEDs 5 and 6 and a microphone 11 which receives ultrasonic waves outputted from the respective ultrasonic wave oscillators 7, 8, and 9 are arranged on the operation body 4 which is operated manually by the operator, and, the three-dimensional coordinates (X, Y, Z) of the operation body 4 are calculated on the basis of data on the time up to the arrival of the ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic wave oscillators 7, 8, and 9 at the microphone 11, and the angles of rotation of the X axis, Y axis, and Z axis of the operation body 4 are calculated on the basis of four kinds of output data outputted when four divided photodetection parts 10a, 10b, 10c, and 10d of the optical sensor 10 are irradiated with the infrared lights emitted by both the LEDs 5 and 6.</p> |
