PURPOSE:To provide a heat resistant insulated wire, which can be used under an environment of high temperature, excellent in adhesiveness and flexibility of an insulating film. CONSTITUTION:A heat resistant insulated wire 10 comprises a conductor 1 and an inorganic film 2 covering the conductor 1 for insulation. The inorganic film 2 is formed of a compound material comprising a matrix consisting of a metal oxide and a metal particle uniformly dispersed in the matrix. A content of the metal particle in the compound material is 10 to 100 pts.wt. relating to 100 pts.wt. the metal oxide.
