PURPOSE:To obtain an optical image which optimizes the scanning period of a photodetector in a camera part and a gain in a gain variable amplifier part, and satisfies surface resolution requested from a ground device, and with the maximum luminance or radiating level resolution obtained by the surface resolution. CONSTITUTION:The ground device decides required surface resolution corresponding to whether a photographic object is a land area or sea area, and sends it to a command decoder part 15 via a data link receiver 21 as a surface resolution command. The command decoder part 15 selects an image pickup period replying to the surface resolution, and generates an image pickup period selection command 115a, and instructs a period to scan the photodetector by a camera part 11 by the command 115a. Also, the command decoder part 15 sets the gain of the gain variable amplifier part 12 on a gain decided in advance corresponding to requested surface resolution, and an optical image signal 113 with the maximum luminance or radiating level resolution obtained by the surface resolution can be obtained. |
