HEAT EXCHANGER FOR DIVIDED TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To enable condensation water to be prevented from being dispersed and further to enable an air processing capability as well as a heat exchanging capability to be improved. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger for a discrete type air conditioner is constructed such that a fin group having a plurality of fins 1 arranged in parallel from each other with a specified interval being left therein is divided into an upper fin group and a lower fin group, and some pipes 2 constituting a heat exchanging coil in common with these upper and lower fin groups. A water shielding plate having a water stopping piece is placed at a gap between the upper and lower fin groups at a conditioned air discharging port, both ends of a top plate 3 and a bottom plate 4 constituting a frame member for protecting the fin groups are bent in such a way that a spacing between both ends may be expanded.
