PURPOSE:To provide a high quality rotary electronic component in which the rotational torque can be set easily and smooth rotary motion of an operating member can be sustained for a long term by partially modifying the gap between the greased fitting part of the body and the inner peripheral surface of the operating member or spreading the grease by rotating the operating member. CONSTITUTION:The fitting part 3 of a body 1 is provided, at a position where the fitting part 3 faces the inner peripheral surface of an operating member 22, with a step part 34 for setting the rotational toque of the operating member 22 and retaining the grease. The step part 34 comprises a plurality of protrusions 35 for setting the rotational torque of the operating member 22 and spreading the grease uniformly. |
