ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE DEVELOPER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide a developer with which image densities are stabilized and good images free from character dirt are obtainable and further a developer which permits formation of good image quality by an image forming system using the thinlayer developer and impartation of stable electrostatic charge even in a recycling system of the developer and is capable of forming the images with the image densities and image quality stable over a long period of time even if the recycling system is used. CONSTITUTION:The inorg. particulates of the developer which consists of colored particles composed of at least a resin and coloring agents and the inorg. particulates subjected to a hydrophobing treatment are formed by subjecting the surfaces of titanium oxide subjected to a surface treatment with silica and alumina to hydrophobic treatment, by which the electrostatic charge developer is obtd.
