PURPOSE:To make the processing speed of jaggy processing sufficiently follow up the travel speed of a pen by arranging gradation data at the periphery of a segment on a side where a step is eliminated. CONSTITUTION:When the pen 105 is operated to run on a tablet 110, drawing input is performed through a drawing input means. Once the drawing input is performed, a coordinate value detecting means detects the passing position of the pen 105 in the form of coordinate values. The coordinate values as detection results are connected with drawing data of a segment sequence. The step part between adjacent segments is detected by a step detecting means by using a staircase-shaped segment. At the periphery of the segment on the side where the step is eliminated by arranging drawing data at the periphery between the two adjacent segments forming the step, gradation data are arranged by a gradation data arranging means. When the gradation data are thus arranged at the periphery of the segment of the drawing data, a display means performs display processing on its display screen 180. |
