The blood treatment device includes an exchanger (1) with two chambers (2, 3) separated by a membrane (4). The first chamber (2) is connected to a pump (6) via ducts (5, 7). A bubble trap (8) is provided in the circuit. The ducts have needles at their extremity which are inserted into a patient vein. A dialysis liquid tank (10) is connected to a second pump (12) via a duct (11) which runs to the second chamber of the exchanger. Electromagnetic clips (15, 16) are provided for connecting the tank to either the kidney chambers or to the blood circuit. Used liquid is eliminated via a duct (18) and a pump (19) into a second tank (17). The bubble trap is linked to a tank (20) containing a solution of bicarbonate.
