A ducted fan gas turbine engine nacelle assembly (10) comprises an aerodynamic nacelle (10a) within which is enclosed a ducted fan gas turbine engine (13). The nacelle (10a) includes an annular containment structure (18) which surrounds the engine fan 14 and fan casing (15) to contain any detached fan blade or blade parts, the containment structure comprising a plurality of fibrous material eg. aromatic polyamide. <IMAGE>
