PURPOSE:To provide a protective layer transfer film capable of imparting various durabilities to a thermal transfer image, especially, capable of keeping effect over a long period of time with respect to light fastness and printed matter enhanced in the durabilities by said transfer film. CONSTITUTION:In a protective layer transfer film wherein a thermal transfer resin layer 2 becoming a protective layer by transfer is provided on a base material film l, a resin having a reactive UV absorber bonded thereto by reaction is added to the thermal transfer resin layer 2. The thermal transfer resin layer 2 may be formed as a single layer or may be formed as a multilayer consisting of a transparent resin layer 4, a UV blocking layer 5 and a thermally adhesive resin layer 6. If necessary, a release layer 3 may be provided between the base material film 1 and the thermal transfer resin layer 2 and a back surface lay 7 may be provided to the surface on the side opposite to the release layer 3 of the base material film 1. Further, an integrated transfer film may be formed by repeatedly providing thermal transfer ink layers of one - four colors and the thermal transfer resin layer 2 on the surface of the base material film 1. |
