PURPOSE:To provide a marble pattern on a rubber sheet by preparing a rubber sheet colored with a base color of marble and another rubber sheet colored with a color different from the base color, rolling only the base material sheet by mixing rolls, and supplying to calender rolls a composite rubber sheet obtained by integrating the two rubber sheets using layering rolls. CONSTITUTION:Two rubber sheet compounds respectively colored with a base color of marble and a color different from the base color are prepared. The compounds are separately kneaded to prepare a base color rubber and a different color rubber for rolling. The base color rubber is rolled into a sheet by heating rolls. The two sheets are then laminated by rolling into a composite rubber sheet. The composite rubber sheet is supplied to a calender and rolled into a sheet while it is being held at a first bank 5 and a second bank 6. The sheet is thus provided with a pattern very similar to the pattern of natural marble. |
