PURPOSE: To provide a method for connecting and embedding an object on a computer network. CONSTITUTION: The user of a first machine/computer A, presents data from an application APPNA on a clip board present in the machine. A clip transmission routine, a part of a conference software P2PA present in the computer A, obtains the list of the usable formats of the data on the clip board and transmits the list to a second machine, the computer B. The conference software P2P-B present in the computer B receives the list and then, a clip reception routine, a part of the P2P-B, presents the list on the clip board present in the machine. Then, the user of the machine B embeds a first object from the APPNA by OLE pasted to the application APPNB present in the computer B by a normal method. |
