PURPOSE:To obtain a three-dimension image close to a natural image when most parts of an object in an image in one frame are moved in the horizontal direction and the remaining part moves in a different direction. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of a moving vector detection circuit 3 detecting the amplitude and the direction of a motion vector from a two- dimension image, a frame memory 2 storing a two-dimension image in the unit of frames, a central processing unit 4 calculating the frame delay or the scanning line delay, a 1st memory control circuit 5 selecting a prescribed frame in the frame memory 2, a contour extract circuit 6 extracting the image of an area with a different motion from the image of the selected frame, an image memory 7 storing the image of the extracted area, and a 2nd memory control circuit 8 controlling the read start position of the image memory 7, and is provided with an interpolation circuit 10 reading one image in both left and right images forming a three dimension image and interpolating lost picture elements due to the control of the read start position of the image memory 7. |
