PURPOSE:To obtain a method for detection of a vibration gyro capable of easily correcting an output signal by linearly varying the output signal during the non-rotation period with respect to variation of an ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:A vibration gyro 10 comprises a vibrator 12 consisting of a triangle pole-shaped vibration body 14 and piezoelectric elements 16a, 16b, 16c. The bending vibration is applied to the vibration body 14 by an oscillation circuit 32 consisting of an amplifier circuit 34 and a phase-correction circuit 36. The piezoelectric elements 16a, 16b are connected to first and second switching circuits 40, 46 via detection circuits 38, 44. Control signals having opposite phases are respectively applied to the first and second switching circuits 40, 46 by means of an inversion circuit 50. The switching circuits 40, 46 are alternatively and intermittently operated in accordance with the control signals. Outputs of the switching circuits 40, 46 are smoothed by a smoothing circuit 52 to be amplified by an amplifier circuit 54. |
