PURPOSE:To prevent an arc discharge from being generated at the contact part of a relay when the relay which is interposed on a power-supply line between a battery and a load circuit is turned off. CONSTITUTION:A power-supply control apparatus for a vehicle is provided with an active fuse 4A which is arranged and installed on a power-supply line L1 between a battery 1 and a main relay 5, with an emergency judgment part 6A and with control units 3, 7A. When an abnormality is judged by the emergency judgment part 6A, the control unit 7A instructs the emergency judgment part 6A to blow the active fuse 4A. After the battery 1 and the main relay 5 have been cut off electrically, the main relay 5 is turned off. As a result, an arc discharge is not generated at the contact part of the relay when the main relay 5 is turned off. Consequently, the battery 1 and a load circuit 2 are electrically cut off surely by turning off the main relay 5. |
