<p>PURPOSE:To perform a high speed scroll process without necessity to scroll process by rewriting the whole of the display data of one picture in a display controller controlling scroll operation of a display picture such as a liquid crystal display part (LCD). CONSTITUTION:This controller transfers the display data by one picture consisting of horizontal 128 dots X vertical 80 dots among the whole display data stored in a VRAM 12 to a RAM 14 built in a display device 13 to display it on an LCD 15, and is constituted so that respective one row display data of a second row to an 80th row in the incorporated RAM 14 are latched successively to a data latch part 16 by address control of a scroll controller 17, and respective latched one row display data are shifted successively to a first row to a 79th row in the incorporated RAM 14 to be written, and by transferring only the one row display data to be written in the 80th from the VRAM 12, a scroll process by one dot upward is performed.</p> |
