The label has a hole, through which a thread (10) can be pulled, and consists of a foldable sheet (1) divided into two sections (3,4) by a fold (2). The first sheet section (3) has a recess (5), or incisions, into which the second sheet section (4) is insertable after folding.Pref. the first sheet section is longer than the second one. The hole may be formed in the end section of the protruding end of the first sheet section. The first sheet section incision may form a latch securing the front edge of the second sheet section after folding.
