Security system for access control preventing unauthorised use of protected devices

The security system has a field bus system linking a number of peripheral units, associated with the protected devices, with respective hardware and software only allowing each device to be activated when a verified command from the correct peripheral unit is received. Pref. each peripheral unit has an electronic key interface, cooperating with a portable electronic key and a bus controller for the operating device, with an internal bus monitoring system allowing an alarm to be activated upon attempted manipulation.
