The frame comprises an extrusion (10) having a rectangular main section and two profiled grip strips (16) attached to the main frame by weakened sections (13) of the extrusion. The glass or the panels (21) are clamped into the profiled grips where they are clamped between a clip fastening seal (19) and a screw fastened clamping profile (27). A screw fastener (28) locates into a profiled flange at the rear of each grip strip.The grip strips are identical and face in opposite directions. The outer part of the join between the panels is covered by a trim (29). The panel/glass edges are gripped between elastic sealing profiles (19,26) secured by the screw fasteners.
