PURPOSE:To feed an original without slanting it steeply and also, to improve an arranging property and a separating property of the original, and the original replacing speed, by extruding the original placed on an original stacker, by a rear end control plate. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a means having a rear end control plate 5 for extruding an original 4 to a feed paper port, on the rear part side of an original stacker 3, and also, for detecting an initial position of the rear end control plate 5, a means 27 for detecting the tip of the original in the vicinity of the feed paper port, a means for detecting the moving extent extending from the initial position to an original tip detecting point, and a means for detecting an original size by the moving extent. In such a way, the original 4 which is set or restacked on the original stacker 3 can be fed without slanting the original stacker 3 steeply, and also, the original which is fed from the original stacker passes through a processing part and returns to the original stacker 3 by a closed loop, the original replacing speed can be increased, and also, the arranging property of the original is satisfactory, and the separating performance is improved. |
