PURPOSE: To prevent contamination of the inside of a bearing, and to improve the lubricating oil holding power by arranging elastomeric sealing elements to inner and outer seal cases to form a liquid barrier along the seal cases, and providing an encoder ring forming radial wall containing disruption along the outer seal case. CONSTITUTION: A seal 6 is made up of elastomeric sealing elements 70, 88 respectively connected to an outer seal case 36 and an inner seal case 56. Both the seal cases 36, 56 are respectively fitted into inner diametrical faces 22, 30 of a double cup 12, and the inner sealing element 70 abuts on the inner peripheral surface of the inner seal case 56 and the outer sealing element 88 abuts on the inner peripheral surface of an encoder ring 46 formed inside the outer seal case 36 to form liquid barriers respectively. Further, a radial wall 50 is formed on opposite end part to a radial wall 42 of the outer seal case 36 to form the encoder ring 46 provided with a disruption 54. The encoder ring 46 is rotated with the outer race to operate a sensor 10 by means of the disruption 54.
