PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of selectively operating a manual insertion paper feed port or a paper feed port like a general cassette. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with multiple feed ports of a multi-tray 1 and a cassette 5 feeding paper sheets. A user can select in advance at least two feed modes including the priority feed mode giving a preference in the feed from the multi-tray 1 in the multiple feed ports and the normal feed mode allowing a user to select one feed port from the multi-tray 1 and the cassette 5.
