PURPOSE:To efficiently and automatically mold the vegetable with a desired solid die by pivotally fitting cutting edge holder arms to lift bodies, fitting a fine-width cutting edge between the cutting edge holder arms, and providing stoppers on the lift bodies or at fixed portions of a frame. CONSTITUTION:Lift bodies 2 lifted by lifting devices 1 are provided on both sides of a vegetable conveyance path R, and one-end sections of cutting edge holder arms 3 facing the conveyance direction of a vegetable piece M on the other end side are pivotally fitted to both lift bodies 2 respectively with shafts 4 in the perpendicular direction to the conveying direction of the vegetable conveyance path R. A fine-width cutting edge 5 crossing the vegetable conveyance path R is fitted between both cutting edge holder arms 3, and its tip faces the center axis of the shafts 4. Stoppers 6 regulating the tilt angles of the other end sides of the cutting edge holder arms 3 inclined downward by the tare weight are provided on both lift bodies 2 or at the fixed portions of a frame. The stoppers 6 determine the initial tilt angle of the fine-width cutting edge 5 when it bites into the vegetable piece M. |
