<p>PURPOSE:To invariably stably convey a recording material between a transferring device and a fixing device even if the recording material is a small-sized or curled paper sheet in an image forming device transferring a transferrable image formed and carried on an image carrier to the recording material with the transferring device and guiding the recording material to the fixing device to fix the image. CONSTITUTION:A recording material conveying device 500 is provided between a transferring device and a fixing device so that part of the recording material conveying member 504 of the device 500 is protruded upward from the line connecting the point T where the conveying force of the transferring device to the recording material is lost and the fixing nip section F of the fixing device. A blasting means A sending the wind in the direction to press the recording material to the projection is provided, and the blasting means is operated at least when L< L0, where L0 is the distance between the point T where the pressing force of the transferring device to the recording material is lost and the fixing nip section F of the fixing device, and L is the conveying direction length of the recording material used.</p> |
