PURPOSE:To obtain the subject film, excellent in antistatic properties, easy slipperiness, adhesiveness and resistances to blocking, solvent and chipping and suitable as magnetic recording materials by forming a mixture film of a water-soluble copolyester with a wax on the surface. CONSTITUTION:This readily bondable polyester film is obtained by forming a film of a mixture consisting essentially of a water-soluble copolyester, containing 20-40wt.% polyoxyalkylene glycol component and having 1-20wt.% content of an ethylene glycol oligomer with an oxidized wax and/or natural wax on at least one surface of a polyester film substrate. The glycol content of A wt.% and the oligomer content of B mol% in the polyester film satisfy 1<=A/B<=10. The amounts of the components blended are 70-99.9wt.% copolyester and 30-0.1wt.% wax. A rosin-modified wax may be contained. A polyethylene glycol having 400-10000 number-average molecular weight is used and the substrate contains 5ppm to 20wt.% each of a sulfonic acid-based copolymer, a polyethylene glycol and a wax. |
