PURPOSE:To provide an alarm device of car elevator, with which a car coming into the elevator cage is prevented from running against the cage door by emitting an alarm sound when the car speed is high. CONSTITUTION:An alarm device for a car elevator is equipped with the first and second photo-electric devices, which are provided on the front of an elevator cage 1 and sense a car 3 has blocked the first and second photo-electric beams 11B, 12B, and a means which measures the time from the car 3 having blocked the first beam 11B to blocking of the second beam 12B and emits an alarm for the car speed being too high in case the measurement is below the specified value. |
