PURPOSE:To provide the PHP (personal handy phone) transmission and reception system which reduce the power consumption by decreasing the frequency of the position registration of a PHP mobile station and making a communication with a nearby base station, and thus lowering the transmission power. CONSTITUTION:The PHP mobile station selects control channels of other receivable base stations when the reception level of the control channel of the base station whose position is already registered, and performs synchronization with the control channel of a base station in the same communication area with the control channel synchronized so far when there is the control channel or with the control channel of a base station in another communication area with a higher reception level when not; and the PHP mobile station is equipped with a means which selects the control channel with a high received signal level at the time of origination and termination, performs synchronization with the control channel, and properly adjusts the transmission output according to its received signal level. |
