PURPOSE:To realize focus adjustment with high precision and to allow the adjustment device to contribute to sophisticated optical communication. CONSTITUTION:An optical antenna 10 is provided with a focus adjustment mechanism 11 and receives a reference light from a reference light source and the reference light is received by an optical sensor 14 via a beam splitter 13. Then image data of the reference light are acquired and a change in a focus of the optical antenna 10 is obtained based on the image data and the operation of the focus adjustment mechanism 11 is controlled based on the change.
