<p>PURPOSE:To read out a distinct track linearity error in real time in using an azimuth time difference detecting device by delaying a preceding side signal by a time difference between a preceding side head and a delayed side head. CONSTITUTION:Only a synchronizing signal in a signal from a 1st head 1 is taken out by a synchronizing signal separating circuit 5, and is delayed by a delay circuit 7 by the time difference between the preceding side head and the delayed side head. On the other hand, only a synchronizing signal in a signal from a 2nd head 2 is taken out by a synchronizing signal separating circuit 6, and is inputted to an azimuth time difference detecting circuit 8. A time deviation between the synchronizing signal from the 1st head 1, delayed by this circuit 8 and the synchronizing signal from the 2nd head 2 in real time is detected by a clock and a counter to be a number of pulses of the clock. This number of pulses is converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter 9. By the azimuth time difference detecting circuit 8, the distinct track linearity error can be read out in real time.</p> |
