PURPOSE:To improve visibility by arranging a grid for light shielding assembled by horizontally and vertically intersecting light shielding plates on the front surface of a display screen and inclining the respective light shielding plates slightly in a direction where light passes a visual point range when the light shielding plates are virtually extended forward. CONSTITUTION:This display device consists of the display screen 1 and the grid 2 for light shielding arranged on the front surface of this screen. The display screen 1 consists of an LED dot matrix light emitting display arranged and formed vertically and horizontally with many light emitting dots (pixels) 1a contg. LEDs on the front surface. The grid 2 for light shielding is fixed to the front surface of the display screen 1 formed with the many light emitting dots 1a in the dot matrix form. The respective light shielding plates 2a, 2b are perpendicular to the display screen 1 but are slightly inclined. A batter is able to view the ball throwing action projected on the display screen 1 through the respective square meshes of the grid 2 for light shielding. The external light from a front diagonal direction is shielded by the respective light shielding plates 2a, 2b of the grid 2 for light shielding and the images of the display screen 1 have an easily visible contrast. |
