PURPOSE:To improve image quality by preventing a photoreceptor from being irradiated with stray light together with exposing light, contrast from lowering, and uneven density from being caused by uneven light distribution in the longitudinal direction of the photoreceptor even when the optical axis of the exposing light is inclined. CONSTITUTION:A movable regulating plate 52 sliding in accordance with copying magnification is provided in a 2nd slit 50 formed on a cover 46 with which an optical device 22 is covered. The opening width of the 2nd slit 50 is made narower than that of reflected light A from the optical device 22 to the photoreceptor 20 by the plate 52. Thus, the photoreceptor 20 is prevented from being irradiated with the stray light from a gap in the 2nd slit 50, and the reflected light A is prevented from getting out of the 2nd slit 50 even by the inclination of the optical axis of the reflected light A and the light distribution in the longitudinal direction of the photoreceptor is uniformized to prevent the uneven density. |
