An automobile headlight casing has a removable cover (4) which closes a neck opening (2) of the casing body (1) and which has a centring skirt (6) with a peripheral sealing rim (7) for pressing against the neck (3) when the cover is placed on the opening (2). The novelty comprises the provision, within the centring skirt (6), of a spring ring (8) which presses the sealing rim (7) zone of the skirt (6) elastically against the neck (3). Also claimed are (i) a casing cover as described above and pref. made of polypropylene or elastomeric thermoplastic material; and (ii) an automobile headlight having the above casing.
