PURPOSE:To provide a form server which can manage in common the form data which are used to different types of printers. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of form data are stored in a storage 15 of the form server 11 in relation to the format of the data. The format of the form data is changed as long as the stored format of the form data is different from the requested format when the form name is received together with the information that designates the format. Thus, the form data of the changed format are transmitted. As a result, it is not required to produce the form data for each type of printers, and the form data produced for a certain type of printers can be used to another type. |
