<p>PURPOSE:To prevent offset phenomenon and winding phenomenon of an electrostatic charge image developing toner to a heat roller in fixing, to enable the toner to be fixed at a low temp. and to attain blocking resistance by adding a star shaped polymer into a polymer constituting a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:In the electrostatic charge image developing toner mainly containing a binder resin and a coloring agent, the star shaped polymer is incorporated in the polymer constituting the binder resin. And the polymer is three dimensionally cross-linked in the center part, has at least >=3 polymer chains chemically bonded in the center part and has one of carboxylate group, hydroxyl group or sulfonate group in the terminal of the polymer. Furthermore, the reserve modulus of elasticity (200 deg.C) of the polymer is 1X10<-3>-8X10<-4> (dyn/ cm<2>) and the loss modulus of elasticity (100 deg.C) is 2X10<-5>-1X10<-7> (dyn/cm<2>). And the toner is obtained by melting and kneading the resin, the coloring agent, a charge controlling agent or the like by using a device capable of heating and mixing and pulverizing by using a pulverizer after solidifying by cooling.</p> |
