PURPOSE:To provide an optical fiber terminal which is adjustable in position with high dimensional accuracy and is reduced in production cost by reducing the unit cost of parts. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber terminal connected by joining to a member to be joined consists of an optical fiber 13 which is formed by coating coated optical fibers 10 with a coating material 12, a resin ferrule 14 having a through- hole for inserting the end of this optical fiber 13, an adhesive layer 16 for fixing the optical fiber 13 inserted into the through-hole of this resin ferrule 14 and a metallic ring 18 which is fixed to the outer circumferential part of the resin ferrule 14 and is joined to the member to be joined. |
