<p>A method for forming an object from a flowable composition in each of a number of successive moulds (18), which each comprises an upper and a lower mould part, defines an intermediary mould cavity, and which can be mutually moved between an open position and a closed position, comprises the following steps: placing the flowable composition in a mould, keeping the mould closed in a period of time sufficient to transform the composition into an object with such a consistency that it can be handled, opening the mould and removing the handable object from the mould. The moulds are arranged stacked on the top of each other, and the moulds in the stack are opened in succession by vertical moving the mould parts of each mould apart by dividing the stack into minimum two sub-stacks, and thereafter closing by moving the mould parts towards each other.</p> |
