Bag filter arrangement includes a pipe (1) through which compressed air pulses are passed for cleaning into a filter bag (7) with wall (6) separating upper clean gas chamber from lower dirty gas chamber. Within the bag is a spiral spring (8) which tensions the bag and forms a support cage. When the gas jet impulse is applied, the spring is induced into resonance oscillations.
