The reflector is produced from aluminium strip (2) that has a highly polished internal surface and has a cross section of a parabolic form. The edges of the reflector are formed into channel sections which serve to stiffen the structure and provide a location for the cover plate (5), which can have differing optical effects. The fluorescent lighting tube (12) is set at the focal point of the reflector and is supported on plastic clips (8). The clips have a 'T' shaped top end that locates in a slot and is secured by turning through 90 degrees. ADVANTAGE - Cost effective, allows different lighting effects to be obtained.
