A resin molding machine in which a resin is molded by feeding a molten resin (4) from a resin injection port (1) into a cavity (3) through a runner (2) including a spool portion (2A) and a runner member (2B). A rod type resin push-back member (5) projecting into the spool portion (2A) of the runner (2) and moved in the interior of the spool portion (2A) toward the resin injection port (1) so as to push back the resin is provided, and a resin (4) is injected into the cavity (3) via the spool portion (2A), the resin push-back member (5) being then inserted into the spool portion (2A) and moved toward the resin injection port (1), whereby an unnecessary molded product (6) in a solidified or semisolidified state in the spool portion (2A) is pushed back into the resin injection port (1) by the heat therein. The diameter of an end parts, which is farther from the resin injection port (1), of the spool portion (2A) is set equal to that of a front end portion in the moving direction of the resin push-back member (5) while the diameter of an end part, which is closer to the resin injection port (1), of the spool portion (2A) is set slightly larger than that of the front end portion in the moving direction of the resin push-back member (5).
