摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body high in electrifiability, capable of high-speed copying and high-speed printing, easy to set manufacturing process, and superior in reproducibility and stability by forming a carrier transfer layer made of a-SiC:H specified in composition and a carrier generating layer made of SiGe specified in composition on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by laminating on the substrate 1 a carrier injection blocking layer 5; the carrier transfer layer 2a made of a-SiC:H having an Si to C atomic ratio of 1:9-9:1, and an absorption coefficient of <=1,000 at 2,860cm<-1> and that of i1,000 at 2,090cm<-1> in the infrared absorption spectra; the carrier generating layer 3a made of a-SiGeC having an Si to Ge atomic ratio of 1:1-19:1, and an Si to C atomic ratio of 1:1-19:1, and a surface protective layer 4a. The layers 2a and 3a may be doped with other atoms.
