The rotating piston machine has a circular ring cylindrical operating chamber, which is separated into several operating chambers via rotating pistons with vanes. A fixed sun gear controls the periodic piston vibration, and is meshed with planet gears located on the driveshaft. The operating chamber has the machine housing as its outer cylinder wall, the operating shaft as the inner cylindrical wall, and a left and a right rotating piston as the left and right cylinder base.
