The invention relates to a method for de-activating mycotoxin, such as aflatoxin, in a particle form raw material for animal and human food products, comprising the steps of: i) treating a one fraction of the raw material with a base; ii) treating another fraction of the raw material with an acid; and iii) combining raw material treated with base and raw material treated with acid.
