<p>A method of killing microorganisms comprises the steps of mixing effective amounts of D-glucose and glucose oxidase, incubating the resulting mixture at a temperature of from -10 to 50 °C and at a pH of from 1 to 8 for a period of at least about 30 minutes and then applying the incubated mixture to the microorganisms.</p> |
