A "fashion set" is a set of everyday footwear and matching handbag. Pre-existing footwear and handbags are made to match by covers (2) applied to them. The covers (2) can be soft covers or molded covers. Footwear are converted into other forms and/or colors. The covers can have openings through which the soles (17) of the footwear can protrude, or the covers (2) can have their own soles (8). The covers (2) can have heel sheaths (6) which can be open or closed at the bottom (22). The covers can be unitary or connectable sections (40, 42). The handbag covers (10) are preferably soft and fit the handbags (72) without interfering with their use.
