<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to separate a sheet housing device from a sheet detecting means automatically by providing a second moving means for moving the housing device to a position where it is separated from the sheet detecting means, after moving the sheet housing device by means of a first moving means, when the sheet housing device is taken out. CONSTITUTION:At the time of attaching a sheet housing device (cassette) 3 to a machine body, when a detecting means 41 detects the sheet housing device 3, the detecting means 41 issues a drive starting signal to a driving means. Next, a first moving means driven by the driving means moves and attaches the sheet housing device 3. When the housing means 3 is taken out, a second moving means 39 moves the sheet housing device 3 to a position separated from the detecting means 41 after the first moving means moves the sheet housing device 3.</p> |
