Seat belt system composed of two parts, namely an upper belt (1) and a lower belt (8). The path of the belt ensures that the stomach region (pregnancy region) and the breast region of a pregnant woman remain belt-free. The upper belt is dynamically arranged and the lower belt statically so. The upper belt has a belt tongue (2) which is releasably held in a movable belt lock (7). The belt roller (3) and the movable lock are fastened to the side or rear of the seat shell (4) with a head support.
