PURPOSE:To provide an inverter device where enough protection of a circuit can be made even at abnormal temperature rise. CONSTITUTION:A thermal protector TP is stuck fast to the transistor Q2 being a switching element for chopper of the chopper part of an inverter device, and it is fixed and retained there by a fixing spring 4. The transistor Q2 doubles as a switching element for one inverter of an inverter part. Therefore, since the thermal protector TP is thermally coupled with the transistor Q2 where a load current and a current of a chopper part flow at the same time, the circuit can be protected surely by detecting the abnormal temperature rise caused by the overcurrent at load abnormality quickly. |
